Your files stay yours.
Formatide converts files in your browser. We do not receive your source files, filenames, or converted results.
What happens to your files
When you select an SVG, this page reads it locally, creates a PNG, and makes the result available for download. Batch ZIP files are also created on your device. There is no file upload or server conversion endpoint.
How long files are kept
The app keeps file references and results in the current page session. Clear all removes them from the app. Closing or refreshing the page ends the session; there is no conversion history or file recovery service. Your browser manages its own memory and temporary storage.
External resources in SVGs
Some SVGs reference images, fonts, or stylesheets on other websites. Formatide does not retrieve those resources. Embed them in the SVG or convert text to outlines in your design app before converting.

Website delivery
Cloudflare serves the website and may process ordinary request information, including IP addresses and requested pages, to deliver and protect it. These requests are separate from file conversion. Cloudflare's automatic browser analytics is disabled. We do not use advertising tags or session replay.
Optional Google Analytics
Analytics is off until you choose Allow analytics. If you agree, Google Analytics 4 uses cookies to measure visits, referral websites, general device information, and basic tool actions: starting or completing a conversion, an error category, requesting a PNG or ZIP download, and pausing or resuming a batch. A download event means that the browser was asked to download a result, not that it was saved to disk.
We do not send source files, filenames, file contents, SVG text, image previews, output files, file sizes, dimensions, or raw error messages to Google. Our own events use a fixed list of fields. Page addresses omit query strings and fragments; referral data is reduced to the referring website's origin. Automatic form, search, link, and file-download tracking is disabled. We do not enable Google signals, advertising personalization, or User-ID tracking.
When analytics is allowed, your browser connects to Google, which receives normal connection information such as your IP address and uses it to derive approximate location. Google's processing and retention of IP addresses vary by region; we do not promise that IP addresses are never processed or stored. Google may process analytics data outside your country. See Google's Privacy Policy and GA4 data privacy information.
Your choices and storage
Allowing and rejecting analytics are equally available, and every conversion feature works either way. Use Privacy in the footer at any time to review the policy or change your analytics choice. Turning analytics off stops future collection and removes this site's accessible Google Analytics cookies without clearing your files or results. Requests already sent cannot be recalled, and withdrawing consent does not delete previously collected reports.
We remember your choice in local storage for up to 180 days, without adding a visitor identifier to that preference. If storage is unavailable, the choice applies only to the current visit. With consent, GA4 may set _ga and _ga_* cookies, configured to expire after at most 180 days without renewing the expiry on every visit. User- and event-level analytics retention is set to 2 months; aggregated standard reports may be retained longer. Clearing browser storage resets your choice.
Search performance
Google Search Console provides reports about how this site appears in Google Search, including search impressions, clicks, and indexing. We verify ownership through DNS. This does not add a tracking script to your browser or receive your conversion files.
Verify local processing
Open your browser's developer tools and the Network panel. After the page has loaded, select and convert a file. You should not see requests containing its name, contents, or output. Site resources may still load as needed. Once the conversion resources have loaded, you can disconnect and convert locally.
Download and clear
Download results you want to keep, then use Clear all. Your original files remain unchanged on your device.
